NUP62/p62 is an essential component of the nuclear pore complex. The N-terminal is probably involved in nucleocytoplasmic transport. The C-terminal is probably involved in protein-protein interaction via coiled-coil formation and may function in anchorage of p62 to the pore complex [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P37198].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
