Product Details
Cyclenase is a thermostable DNA polymerase that lacks exonuclease activity in both the 3’ --> 5’ and 5’ --> 3’ directions. Cyclenase efficiently incorporates dideoxynucleotide triphosphates (ddNTPs), making it useful for manual and automated sequencing applications. In addition to its DNA polymerase, Cyclenase includes a thermophilic acidic pyrophosphatase (TAPP) that converts the pyrophosphate product of nucleotide polymerization into inorganic orthophosphate. This activity prevents degradation of newly synthesized DNA strands by pyrophosphorolysis and ensures efficient product synthesis in Sanger Sequencing and SNP genotyping applications,
