Goat anti-ADAMTS13 Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-002A maps to a region between residue 825 and 875 of human ADAM (a disintegrin-like and metalloprotease) metallopeptidase with thrombospondin type 1 motif, 13 using the numbering given in entry NP_620594.1 (GeneID 11093).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
ADAMTS13 is part of the ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif) protein family that is responsible for cleaving von Willebrand Factor (vWF). ADAMTS13 is synthesized in the liver and secreted to the plasma. A deficiency of the ADAMTS13 protease activity results in unusually larger multimers of vWF and is associated with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura.
Alternate Names
A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 13; a disintegrin-like and metalloprotease (reprolysin type) with thrombospondin type 1 motif, 13; ADAM-TS 13; ADAM-TS13; ADAMTS-13; C9orf8; von Willebrand factor-cleaving protease; vWF-cleaving protease; VWFCP; vWF-CP
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots are performed using Donkey anti-Goat IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A50-101P).
