Goat anti-DMAP1 Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-218A maps to a region between residues 400 and 450 of human DNA Methyltransferase 1 Associated Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_061973.1 (GeneID 55929).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DMAP1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-218A-T maps to a region between residues 400 and 450 of human DNA Methyltransferase 1 Associated Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_061973.1 (GeneID 55929).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
DMAP1 (DNA methyltransferase 1 associated protein 1) has been identified as a subunit of several distinct protein complexes involved in the repression and activation of transcription. It has been observed to interact with histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) as well as histone acetyltransferase (HAT) indicating a role in nucleosome modification to regulate transcription. DMAP1 can act independently to repress transcription in association with DNA methyltransferase 1.
Alternate Names
DNA methyltransferase 1-associated protein 1; DNMAP1; DNMT1 associated protein 1; DNMT1-associated protein 1; DNMTAP1; EAF2; MEAF2; SWC4
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots are performed using Donkey anti-Goat IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A50-101P).
