Rabbit anti-AF9 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00125 maps to a region between residues 250 and 300 of human ALL1 Fused Gene from Chromosome 9 Protein (MLLT3, Myeloid/Lymphoid or Mixed-Lineage Leukemia Translocate 3) using the numbering given in entry NP_004520.1 (GeneID 4300). Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to AF9 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00125-T maps to a region between residues 250 and 300 of human ALL1 Fused Gene from Chromosome 9 Protein (MLLT3, Myeloid/Lymphoid or Mixed-Lineage Leukemia Translocate 3) using the numbering given in entry NP_004520.1 (GeneID 4300).
Additional Product Information
The human AF9 gene is one of the most common fusion partner genes with the MLL (mixed lineage leukemia) gene resulting in AF9/MLL translocations and leukemogenesis. AF9 is highly homologous to the gene product of ENL, another common MLL fusion partner gene. The function of AF9 is not known but through studies of ENL it is proposed to be a nuclear transactivating factor.
Alternate Names

Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
