Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to AKT1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00513 maps to a region between residue 25 and 75 of human v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene homolog 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005154.1 (GeneID 207).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
