Rabbit anti-ATXN1L Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-127A-T maps to a region between residue 250 to 300 of human Ataxin-1-like using the numbering given in entry P0C7T5.1 (GeneID 342371).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ATXN1L immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Ataxin-1-like, encoded by the gene ATXN1L, is a chromatin-binding factor that repress Notch signaling in the absence of Notch intracellular domain by acting as a CBF1 corepressor. ATXN1L can suppress ATXN1 cytotoxicity in spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 (SCA1) [taken from UniProtKB (Entry: P0C7T5)].
Alternate Names
ataxin-1-like; BOAT; BOAT1; brother of ataxin-1; brother of ATXN1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
