Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CDT1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00128 maps to a region between residue 500 and the C-terminus (residue 546) of human Chromatin Licensing and DNA Replication Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_112190.1 (GeneID 81620).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

CDT1 is involved in the formation of pre-replicative complexes (preRC) at origins of replication. Under tight regulation, CDT1 associates with chromatin during G1 in a dynamic manner to promote the loading of mini-chromosome maintenance (MCM) complex in preparation for replication. CDT1 is negatively regulated by ubiquitin-directed degradation and has been demonstrated to be protected from ubiquitination by the protein geminin.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
