Rabbit anti-CoCoA Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-818A maps to a region between residue 650 and the C-terminus (residue 691) of human Coiled-Coil Transcriptional Coactivator 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_065949.1 (GeneID 57658).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CoCoA immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-818A-T maps to a region between residue 650 and the C-terminus (residue 691) of human Coiled-Coil Transcriptional Coactivator 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_065949.1 (GeneID 57658).
Additional Product Information
CoCoA (coiled-coil coactivator) functions as a secondary coactivator for nuclear receptors and the LEF1/beta-catenin transcription factor. CoCoA is recruited to DNA bound nuclear receptors or factors by one of three p160 coactivator proteins that act as the primary coactivator. Through this interaction, CoCoA is able to contribute to transcriptional activation of target genes.
Alternate Names
calcium-binding and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 1; calphoglin; Cocoa; coiled-coil coactivator protein; coiled-coil leucine zipper coactivator 1; inorganic pyrophosphatase activator; PP13275; sarcoma antigen NY-SAR-3
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
