Rabbit anti-Coronin 2 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00269 maps to a region between residue 450 and 489 of human Coronin, actin binding protein, 1B using the numbering given in entry NP_065174.1 (GeneID 57175).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Coronin 2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00269-T maps to a region between residue 450 and 489 of human Coronin, actin binding protein, 1B using the numbering given in entry NP_065174.1 (GeneID 57175).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Coronin 2 is an F-actin binding protein that plays an important role in processes involving actin dynamics such as fibroblast migration, and phagocytosis. Coronin 2 influences actin dynamics by promoting actin depolymerization. It has been shown to interact with the Arp2/3 complex and inhibit Arp2/3-induced actin nucleation. Additionally, it can regulate motility by regulating the actin severing and disassembling activity of cofilin.
Alternate Names
coronin, actin binding protein, 1B; coronin-1B; CORONIN-2
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
