Rabbit anti-Cul3 Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-109A-T maps to a region between residue 650 and 700 of human cullin 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_003581.1 (GeneID 8452). Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Cul3 immobilized on solid support.

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Cul3 is a member of the cullin group of proteins and functions as a scaffold to bring together ubiquitin E3 ligases, E2 conjugating enzyme, and substrate proteins to mediate the ubiquitination of substrate proteins. Cul3 and its associated ubiquitin ligase activity are essential for mitotic division and required for correct alignment of chromosomes and the completion of cytokinesis. Aurora B is a substrate of Cul3-based E3 ubiquitin ligase activity.
Alternate Names
CUL-3; cullin-3; PHA2E
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
