Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to EIF3M immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A304-761A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 3 Subunit M using the numbering given in entry Q7L2H7.1 (GeneID 10480).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to EIF3M immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A304-761A-T maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 3 Subunit M using the numbering given in entry Q7L2H7.1 (GeneID 10480).

Additional Product Information

EIF3M is part of the eurkaryotic translation initiation factor 3 complete (eIF-3) required for protein synthesis. Elevated levels of EIF3M are present in cancer cell lines. Inactivation of EIF3M has been shown to interfere with translation of herpes virus mRNAs by preventing the association of mRNAs with the ribosomes [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10480)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
