Rabbit anti-GCN1L1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-843A maps to a region between residue 2621 and 2671 of human general control of amino-acid synthesis 1-like 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_006827.1 (GeneID 10985).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GCN1L1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-843A-T maps to a region between residue 2621 and 2671 of human general control of amino-acid synthesis 1-like 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_006827.1 (GeneID 10985).
Additional Product Information
GCN1L1 (general control of amino-acid synthesis 1 like 1) is structurally similar to GCN1, a yeast factor that associates with ribosomes and participates in translational elongation.
Alternate Names
eIF-2-alpha kinase activator GCN1; GCN1 (general control of amino-acid synthesis 1, yeast)-like 1; GCN1 eIF-2-alpha kinase activator homolog; GCN1 general control of amino-acid synthesis 1-like 1; GCN1L; GCN1L1; GCN1-like protein 1; general control of amino-acid synthesis 1-like protein 1; hsGCN1; peroxisome proliferator activated receptor interacting complex protein; PRIC295; translational activator GCN1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
