Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GRB10 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00614 maps to a region between residue 100 and 150 of human growth factor receptor-bound protein 10 using the numbering given in entry NP_005302.3 (GeneID 2887).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

Growth factor receptor-bound protein 10 (GRB10) is a member of a family of adaptor proteins that bind to a variety of growth factor receptors to regulate receptor signaling and mediate signals for a variety of processes such as metabolism, growth, apoptosis, and migration. As a dimer, via its BPS (between PH and SH2) and SH2 (src-homology 2) domains, GRB10 associates with the insulin receptor (IR) as well as the insulin-like growth factor receptor (IGFR). GRB10’s association with the IR has been shown to have inhibitory effects on insulin-induced kinase signaling; however studies have also reported that GRB10 can also have positive effects on IR signaling. It is suggested that GRB10 can serve in cellular functions independent of an interaction with the IR.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
