Rabbit anti-HCA66 Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-575A-T maps to a region between residue 565 and 597 of human hepatocellular carcinoma associated antigen 66 using the numbering given in entry NP_060898.2 (GeneID 55813).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to HCA66 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
HCA66 (hepatocellular carcinoma-associated antigen 66) is also known as UTP6 and is a subunit of the UtpB subcomplex which is part of the SSU (small subunit) processome. HCA66 contains a HAT (half-a-tetracopeptide repeat) domain which is found only in proteins involved in RNA metabolism. HCA66 has also been identified as a component of the centrosome and as a regulator of gamma-tubulin.
Alternate Names
C17orf40; HCA66; hepatocellular carcinoma-associated antigen 66; multiple hat domains protein; U3 small nucleolar RNA-associated protein 6 homolog; UTP6, small subunit (SSU) processome component, homolog
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
