Rabbit anti-ILKAP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-479A-T maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human integrin-linked kinase-associated serine/threonine phosphatase 2C using the numbering given in entry NP_110395.1 (GeneID 80895).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ILKAP immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
ILKAP is a protein phosphatase 2C that associates with integrin linked kinase (ILK) and inhibits ILK kinase activity and the ILK-GSK3beta signaling axis. It has been proposed that ILKAP inhibition of ILK activity may play an important role in inhibiting oncogenic transformation due to its influence on cell adhesion and growth factor signaling.
Alternate Names
ILKAP; ILKAP2; ILKAP3; integrin-linked kinase associated phosphatase; integrin-linked kinase-associated serine/threonine phosphatase 2C; PP2C-DELTA; PPM1O; protein phosphatase 2c, delta isozyme; protein phosphatase, Mg2+/Mn2+ dependent 1O
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
