Additional Product Information
The origin recognition complex (ORC) is a highly conserved six subunits protein complex essential for the initiation of the DNA replication in eukaryotic cells. Studies in yeast demonstrated that ORC binds specifically to origins of replication and serves as a platform for the assembly of additional initiation factors such as Cdc6 and Mcm proteins. ORC3 is also known as ORC3L and is a subunit of the human ORC complex. ORC3L forms a core complex with ORC2L, -4L, and -5L [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID: 23595)].
Alternate Names
homolog of latheo, Drosophila; LAT; LATHEO; ORC3L; origin recognition complex subunit 3; origin recognition complex subunit Latheo; origin recognition complex, subunit 3 honolog
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
