Rabbit anti-PAPD5/TRF4-2 Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-160A-T maps to a region between residue 500 to 550 of human PAP-associated domain-containing protein 5 using the numbering given in entry Q8NDF8.2 (GeneID 64282).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PAPD5/TRF4-2 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Non-canonical poly(A) RNA polymerase PAPD5, also called terminal uridylyltransferase 3 (TUTase 3), is encoded for by the gene PAPD5. TUTase 3 is the catalytic subunit of a TRAMP-like complex which has poly(A) RNA polymerase activity and is involved in a post-transcriptional quality control mechanism. PAPD5 plays a role in replication-dependent histone mRNA degradation and may play a role in sister chromatid cohesion [taken from UniProtKB (Entry: Q8NDF8)].
Alternate Names
non-canonical poly(A) RNA polymerase PAPD5; PAP associated domain containing 5; PAP-associated domain-containing protein 5; PAPD5; poly(A) RNA polymerase D5, non-canonical; Terminal nucleotidyltransferase 4B; terminal uridylyltransferase 3; topoisomerase-related function protein 4-2; TRF4-2; TUT3; TUTase 3
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
