Rabbit anti-PIP1/WDR84 Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-550A maps to a region between residue 342 and 392 of human PAK/PLC-interacting protein 1 (WD repeat protein 84) using the numbering given in entry NP_060376.2 (GeneID 55003).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PIP1/WDR84 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-550A-T maps to a region between residue 342 and 392 of human PAK/PLC-interacting protein 1 (WD repeat protein 84) using the numbering given in entry NP_060376.2 (GeneID 55003).
Additional Product Information
PIP1/WDR84 (PAK1IP1) was identified as a p21-activated protein kinase (PAK) interacting protein that functions as a negative regulator of PAK activity and PAK signaling pathways. PIP1/WDR84 (PAK1IP1) contains 5 G beta-like WD repeats. The WD repeat is defined by four or more repeating units of a conserved core of approximately 40 amino acids ending with tryptophan-aspartic acid (WD). WD repeats may serve as sites of protein-protein interaction for adaptor proteins and facilitate multiprotein complex formation.
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
