Additional Product Information
PPIP5K1 is a bifunctional inositol kinase that acts in concert with the IP6K kinases IP6K1, IP6K2 and IP6K3 to synthesize the diphosphate group-containing inositol pyrophosphates diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate, PP-InsP5, and bis-diphosphoinositol tetrakisphosphate, (PP)2-InsP4 [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q6PFW1].
Alternate Names
Diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate kinase 1; HISPPD2A; histidine acid phosphatase domain containing 2A; histidine acid phosphatase domain-containing protein 2A; hsVIP1; inositol hexakisphosphate and diphosphoinositol-pentakisphosphate kinase 1; inositol pyrophosphate synthase 1; insP6 and PP-IP5 kinase 1; IP6 kinase; IP6K; IPS1; VIP1; VIP1 homolog
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
