The epitope recognized by A302-820A-T maps to a region between residue 300 and 350 of human Rabaptin, RAB GTPase Binding Effector Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_004694.2 (GeneID 9135).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RABEP1 immobilized on solid support.

RAB GTPase binding effector protein 1 (RABEP1) is a Rab effector protein and acts as a linker between gamma-adaptin, RAB4A and RAB5A. It stimulates RABGEF1 mediated nucleotide exchange on RAB5A RABEP1 and is involved in endocytic membrane fusion and membrane trafficking of recycling endosomes [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q15276].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
