Rabbit anti-SYNE1/CPG2/Nesprin 1 Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-058A maps to a region between residue 4200 to 4250 of human Nesprin-1 using the numbering given in entry Q8NF91.4 (GeneID 23345).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SYNE1/CPG2/Nesprin 1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-058A-T maps to a region between residue 4200 to 4250 of human Nesprin-1 using the numbering given in entry Q8NF91.4 (GeneID 23345).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
The gene SYNE1 encodes a spectrin repeat containing protein, Nesprin-1, which is expressed in skeletal and smooth muscle, and peripheral blood lymphocytes. Nesprin-1 localizes to the nuclear membrane. Mutations in this gene have been associated with autosomal recessive spinocerebellar ataxia 8 [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 23345)].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
