Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TAL1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A305-300A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human T-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia protein 1 using the numbering given in entry P17542.2 (GeneID 6886).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

T-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia protein 1 (TAL1) is implicated in the genesis of hemopoietic malignancies. It may play an important role in hemopoietic differentiation. TAL1 serves as a positive regulator of erythroid differentiation (By similarity) [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P17542].

Alternate Names

bHLHa17; class A basic helix-loop-helix protein 17; SCL; stem cell protein; tal-1; tal-1 product; T-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia 1; T-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia protein 1; T-cell leukemia/lymphoma protein 5; TCL5

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
