Rabbit anti-TRIM16/EBBP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-159A maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human tripartite motif-containing 16 (estrogen-responsive B box protein) using the numbering given in entry NP_006461.3 (GeneID 10626).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TRIM16/EBBP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-159A-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human tripartite motif-containing 16 (estrogen-responsive B box protein) using the numbering given in entry NP_006461.3 (GeneID 10626).
Additional Product Information
TRIM16/EBBP is a member of the tripartite motif RBCC/Trim domain family that contains a RING-finger domain, B-boxes, and an alpha-helical coiled-coil region. TRIM16/EBBP has been identified as an estrogen and anti-estrogen regulated gene in keratinocytes and may be important for keratinocyte differentiation. Studies show that TRIM16/EBBP also plays a role in interleukin-1beta cytokine secretion and transactivation of the retinoic acid response element beta (betaRARE).
Alternate Names
EBBP; estrogen-responsive B box protein; tripartite motif-containing protein 16
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
