Rabbit anti-VprBP Antibody Affinity Purified

Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-887A maps to a region between residue 25 and 75 of human Vpr (HIV-1) binding protein using the numbering given in entry NP_055518.1 (GeneID 9730).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to VprBP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-887A-T maps to a region between residue 25 and 75 of human Vpr (HIV-1) binding protein using the numbering given in entry NP_055518.1 (GeneID 9730).
Additional Product Information
VprBP (HIV-1 Vpr-binding protein) is also known as DCAF1 (Ddb1- and Cul4-associated factor 1). VprBP was initially identified as a protein that co-immunoprecipitated with the HIV protein, viral protein R; however the physiological relevance of this association remains unclear. It has recently been shown that VprBP plays an essential role in cell cycle progression, and it associates with the DDB1-CUL4 E3 ligase complex.
Alternate Names
DDB1- and CUL4-associated factor 1; HIV-1 Vpr-binding protein; protein VPRBP; RIP; serine/threonine-protein kinase VPRBP; Vpr (HIV-1) binding protein; Vpr-binding protein; VPRBP; vpr-interacting protein
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
