Product Description
Forkhead box protein K1 (FOXK1) is a member of the human Forkhead-box (FOX) family of proteins. The Forkhead-box domain is a highly conserved DNA binding domain of about 100 amino acids found in proteins that function as transcriptional regulators. FOXK1 also bears an FHA (forkhead-associated) domain, a putative nuclear signaling domain that binds phospho-peptides. FOXK1 has been shown to play a role in the regulation of myogeneic progenitor cells and skeletal muscle regeneration.

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FOXK1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00334 maps to a region between residue 683 and 733 of human forkhead box K1 using the numbering given in entry NP_001032242.1 (GeneID 221937).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
