Product Description
SART1 (squamous cell carcinoma antigen recognized by T cells 1) was originally identified as a gene that encodes an antigenic peptide expressed in squamous cell carcinomas and recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. The SART1 gene encodes two proteins, SART1(800) and SART1(259). SART1(800) has been found to be expressed in the nucleus of the majority of proliferating cells and has been identified as a component of the splicesomal complex required for U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP recruitment and the assembly of mature splicesomes.

Production & Epitope
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SART1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-422A maps to a region between residue 675 and 725 of human squamous cell carcinoma antigen recognized by T cells using the numbering given in entry NP_005137.1 (GeneID 9092).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using an anti-Rabbit IgG Light Chain HRP-conjugated antibody with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
