Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to METTL3/MT-A70 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-568A maps to a region between residue 530 and 580 of human methyltransferase like 3 (N6-adenosine-methyltransferase 70 kDa subunit) using the numbering given in entry NP_062826.2 (GeneID 56339).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using an anti-Rabbit IgG Light Chain HRP-conjugated antibody with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:500 - 1:2000. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections.
Immunoprecipitation (IP)6 µg/mg lysate
