BORG4 (binder of Rho GTPases 4) is part of a family of proteins that function as negative regulators of CDC42 Rho GTPase signaling. The Borg family of proteins are also known as CEPs (Cdc effector proteins) and have been shown to act downstream of Cdc42 to influence the assembly of actin filaments and changes in cell shape.

Production & Epitope
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BORG4 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-379A maps to a region between residue 100 and 150 of human binder of Rho GTPases 4 using the numbering given in entry NP_036253.2 (GeneID 23580).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using an anti-Rabbit IgG Light Chain HRP-conjugated antibody with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
