Product Description
HIP55 (HPK1-interacting protein of 55 kDa) is an actin-binding adapter protein that may act as a common effector of antigen receptor-signaling pathways in leukocytes. The association of HIP55 with dynamin suggests that it may also connect the actin cytoskeleton to endocytic function. HIP55 acts as a key component of the immunological synapse that regulates T-cell activation by bridging TCRs and the actin cytoskeleton to gene activation and endocytic processes [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9UJU6].

Production & Epitope
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to HIP55 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-351A maps to a region between residue 225 and 275 of human HPK1-Interacting Protein of 55 kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_001014436.1 (GeneID 28988).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using an anti-Rabbit IgG Light Chain HRP-conjugated antibody with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
