Product Description

Receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 2 (ROR2) is a receptor protein tyrosine kinase and type I transmembrane protein that belongs to the ROR subfamily of cell surface receptors. ROR2 may be involved in the early formation of the chondrocytes and may be required for cartilage and growth plate development [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 4920)].

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ROR2 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A304-241A maps to a region between residue 475 to 525 of human Receptor Tyrosine Kinase-Like Orphan Receptor 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_004551.2 (GeneID 4920).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using an anti-Rabbit IgG Light Chain HRP-conjugated antibody with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.

Immunoprecipitation (IP)6 µg/mg lysate
