RTCB encodes tRNA-splicing ligase RtcB homolog, the catalytic subunit of the tRNA-splicing ligase complex that acts by directly joining spliced tRNA halves to mature-sized tRNAs. tRNA-splicing ligase RtcB homolog may also act as an RNA ligase with broad substrate specificity, and may function toward other RNAs [taken from UniProtKB (Entry: Q9Y3I0)].

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RTCB/C22orf28/FAAP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-078A maps to a region between residue 175 to 225 of human tRNA-splicing ligase RtcB homolog using the numbering given in entry Q9Y3I0.1 (GeneID 51493).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (A120-101P).
