Product Description

ATRIP (ATR-interacting protein) forms a complex with the serine-threonine kinase ATR (ataxia-telangiectasia mutated rad-3 related) to function in the DNA damage response. Through its interaction with replication protein A (RPA), ATRIP aids the recruitment of ATR to regions of DNA damage. ATR-ATRIP interacts with and is regulated by Rad17 and the 9-1-1 complexes.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ATRIP immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00451 maps to a region between residue 100 to 150 of human ATM and Rad3-related-interacting protein using the numbering given in entry NP_569055.1 (GeneID 84126).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 - 1:500
