Product Description

CoAA (coactivator activator) is also known as RBM14 (RNA binding motif protein 14) because of the presence of two RNA recognition motifs (RRMs) in its N-terminus. CoAA has been observed to mediate the coupled processes of transcription and splicing in a promoter-specific manner.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CoAA immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00024 maps to a region between residue 150 and 200 of human Coactivator Activator (RNA Binding Motif Protein 14) using the numbering given in entry NP_006319.1 (GeneID 10432).

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
