Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to COX4 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00546 maps to a region between residue 25 and 75 of human cytochrome c oxidase subunit IV isoform 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_001852.1 (GeneID 1327).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
