Production Procedures

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CPSF59 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00268 maps to a region between residue 175 and 225 of human cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor 7, 59 kDa subunit using the numbering given in entry NP_079087.2 (GeneID 79869).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

CPSF59 is the the 59 kDa subunit of the cleavage factor Im complex (CFIm). The CFIm is a heterodimer composed of a 25 kDa (CPSF5) subunit and either the 59 kDa (CPSF7) or 68 kDa (CPSF6) subunit and is essential to the first step of pre-mRNA 3’-end processing. CPSF59 bears an RNA-recognition motif (RRM).

Alternate Names

CFIm59; cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor 59 kDa subunit; cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor subunit 7; cleavage factor Im complex 59 kDa subunit; CPSF 59 kDa subunit; pre-mRNA cleavage factor I, 59 kDa subunit; pre-mRNA cleavage factor Im 59 kDa subunit

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
