Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CPSF68 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-358A maps to a region between residue 501 and 551 of human cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 6, 68kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_008938.1 (GeneID 11052).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CPSF68 immobilized on solid support.

Cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 68 (CPSF68) is the 68 kDa subunit of the cleavage factor Im complex (CFIm). The CFIm is a heterodimer composed of a 25 kDa (CPSF5) subunit and either the 59 kDa (CPSF7) or 68 kDa (CPSF6) subunit and is essential to the first step of pre-mRNA 3’-end processing. CPSF68 bears an N-terminal RNA- recognition motif (RRM) that is necessary for binding CPS5.

Applications
