Product Description

CSTF50 is one of three subunits that comprise the cleavage stimulation factor (CSTF) complex. CSTF is part of the polyadenylation machinery that adds adenylate residues to the 3’-ends of eukaryotic pre-mRNAs. In the CSTF complex, CSTF50 interacts with CSTF77 (CSTF3), and CSTF64 (CSTF2).

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CSTF50 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00248 maps to a region between residue 75 and 125 of human cleavage stimulation factor, 3' pre-RNA, subunit 1, 50kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_001315.1 (GeneID 1477 ).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 - 1:500
