Product Description
CTLA4 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is an inhibitory receptor acting as a major negative regulator of T-cell responses. The affinity of CTLA4 for its natural B7 family ligands, CD80 and CD86, is considerably stronger than the affinity of their cognate stimulatory coreceptor CD28. Production & Epitope
Recombinant antibody was purified from cell culture supernatant.
Immunogen was a peptide representing a region between residue 173 and the C-terminus (residue 223) of human Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte protein 4 using the numbering given in entry NP_005205.2 (Gene ID 1493).
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (A120-101P).
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 to 1:500. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections.
