Product Description

Cyclin E1 is a regulatory subunit of the CDK2 kinase. Cyclin E is central for the regulation of the G1/S transition and its abundance is tightly regulated throughout the cell cycle via ubiquitination. Cyclin E has been the subject of intense study in relation to tumorigenesis and cancer management and prognosis.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Cyclin E1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00341 maps to a region between residue 360 and 410 of human cyclin E1 using the numbering given in entry NP_001229.1 (GeneID 898).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 - 1:500
