Product Description

DTL/CDT2 is a component of the CUL4A-DDB1 E3 ubiquitinating complex and plays a role in downregulating CDT1, an essential component of pre-replication complexes (Pre-RC) that ensures the genome is replicated only once per cycle. As part of the CUL4A-DDB1 E3 ligase complex DTL/CDT2 is also involved in the regulation of other proteins involved in the G2/M cell cycle checkpoint.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DTL/CDT2 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00495 maps to a region between residue 680 and the C-terminus (residue 730) of human Denticleless Homolog (Chromatin Licensing and DNA Replicating Factor 2) using the numbering given in entry NP_057532.1 (GeneID 51514).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
