Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FAF1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A302-810A maps to a region between residue 25 and 75 of human Fas (TNFRSF6) Associated Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_008982.1 (GeneID 11124).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FAF1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A302-810A-T maps to a region between residue 25 and 75 of human Fas (TNFRSF6) Associated Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_008982.1 (GeneID 11124).

Additional Product Information

FAS-associated factor 1 (FAF1) binds to FAS antigen and can initiate apoptosis or enhance apoptosis initiated through FAS antigen. Initiation of apoptosis FAF1 requires a ubiquitin-like domain but not the FAS-binding domain [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 11124)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
