Additional Product Information

FAHD1 is a probable mitochondrial acylpyruvase which is able to hydrolyze acetylpyruvate and fumarylpyruvate in vitro (PubMed:15551868, PubMed:21878618). It also has oxaloacetate decarboxylase activity (PubMed:25575590) [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q6P587].

Alternate Names

acylpyruvase FAHD1, mitochondrial; acylpyruvate hydrolase; C16orf36; FAH domain-containing protein 1; fumarylacetoacetate hydrolase domain-containing protein 1; OAA decarboxylase; oxaloacetate decarboxylase; YISK like/RJD15; YISKL; yisK-like protein

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
