Product Description
Forkhead box protein K2 (FOXK2) is a member of the human Forkhead-box (FOX) family of proteins. The Forkhead-box domain is a highly conserved DNA binding domain of about 100 amino acids found in proteins that function as transcriptional regulators. FOXK1 also bears an FHA (forkhead-associated) domain, a putative nuclear signaling domain that binds phospho-peptides. FOXK2 can bind to purine-rich motifs of the HIV long terminal repeat and the interleukin 2 promoter.

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FOXK2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00336 maps to a region between residue 635 and 660 of human forkhead box K2 using the numbering given in entry NP_004505.2 (GeneID 3607).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
