The GIGYF2 contains CAG repeats, and the encoded protein contains stretches of glutamine and glutamic acid residues. Defects in the GIGYF2 gene are a cause of Parkinson disease type 11 (PARK11) [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 26058)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
