Additional Product Information

GORAB is a member of the golgin family, a group of coiled-coil proteins localized to the Golgi. GORAB may function in the secretory pathway. GORAB localizes to the cytoplasm and was identified by interactions with the N-terminal kinase-like protein. It may function in mitosis [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 92344)].

Alternate Names

GO; hNTKL-BP1; N-terminal kinase-like-binding protein 1; NTKL-binding protein 1; NTKLBP1; NTKL-BP1; RAB6-interacting golgin; SCY1-like 1-binding protein 1; SCYL1-binding protein 1; SCYL1BP1; SCYL1-BP1

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
