Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to HCA66 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00719 maps to a region between residue 565 and 597 of human hepatocellular carcinoma associated antigen 66 using the numbering given in entry NP_060898.2 (GeneID 55813).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

HCA66 (hepatocellular carcinoma-associated antigen 66) is also known as UTP6 and is a subunit of the UtpB subcomplex which is part of the SSU (small subunit) processome. HCA66 contains a HAT (half-a-tetracopeptide repeat) domain which is found only in proteins involved in RNA metabolism. HCA66 has also been identified as a component of the centrosome and as a regulator of gamma-tubulin.

55813
UTP6
UTP6, small subunit processome component
Q9NYH9
U3 small nucleolar RNA-associated protein 6 homolog

Alternate Names

C17orf40; HCA66; hepatocellular carcinoma-associated antigen 66; multiple hat domains protein; U3 small nucleolar RNA-associated protein 6 homolog; UTP6, small subunit (SSU) processome component, homolog

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
