Product Description

INPPL1 (Inositol Polyphosphate Phosphatase-Like Protein 1) is a phosphatidylinositol phosphatase that negatively regulates phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) pathways related to numerous cell activities. INPPL1 plays a role in PI3K-dependent insulin, macrophage colony-stimulating factor, and EGF signaling. INPPL1 is also involved in actin cytoskeletal remodeling, actin dynamics, and neuritogenesis. INPPL1 interacts with SHC1 (src-homology domain) to mediate EGFR signaling.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to INPPL1/SHIP2 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00567 maps to a region between residues 100 and 150 of human inositol polyphosphate phosphatase-like 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_001558.2 (GeneID 3636).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 - 1:500
