Additional Product Information

LMAN2 is a type I transmembrane lectin that shuttles between the endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. LMAN2 binds high mannose type glycoproteins and may facilitate their sorting, trafficking and quality control [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10960)].

Alternate Names

C5orf8; epididymis secretory sperm binding protein; glycoprotein GP36b; GP36B; Lectin mannose-binding 2; vesicular integral protein of 36 kDa; vesicular integral-membrane protein 36; vesicular integral-membrane protein VIP36; VIP36

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
