Product Description

MLLT1, also known as ENL (eleven nineteen leukemia protein), was originally identified as a gene involved in a recurrent translocation (11;19) with the mixed-lineage leukemia (MLL) gene. The MLL-ENL fusion protein has been found to associate with SWI/SNF complexes and promote transcription from the HoxA7 promoter. Additionally, from studies to identify proteins that associate with MLLT1, MLLT1 is suggested to play a role in histone modification and transcriptional elongation.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MLLT1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00648 maps to a region between residue 325 and 375 of human myeloid/lymphoid or mixed-lineage leukemia (trithorax homolog, Drosophila); translocated to, 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005925.2 (GeneID 4298).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 - 1:500
